Anis zulaikha-part II

Zulaikha,

Doid you know that we almost lost you, not once but twice.

When you were about 2-3 month in your mum, your ma experienced something called threatened abortion. it means literally that you are slowly coming out from your ma's womb in the form of blood. In order to save you, we have decided to move closer to ma's working place so that she won't have to climb stairs and drive...and she took some day off. With the Allah's permission and medication you grow stronger and continue to grow..

According to your ma's theory, she said you might be a boy..again it has to do with the birds and the bees..please consult your ma for more details..=)! But at the end, her theory sank deep down to the unknown world..You were scanned to be a GIRL. as usual we get exited especially when you started to kick..hehe..Soon after that, we started to buy girly stuff for you, you know the girly stuff, the pink,=).

Do you remember anything about prophets, Mozart, beauty and the beast...yeah, we use to read the stories to you and put on some music..I hope you have enjoyed our stories =). By this time we have already selected a name for you and it was tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ANIS ZULAIKHA. I picked Zulaikha and Anis came from your ma. I hope you like your name because i hate mine..=)

For your information, there are some reasons why we picked Anis Zulaikha. 1) we wanted your name to have our initials, A and Z. 2) your name has to be simple and a bit classic and 3)because of the meaning of course! Anis = Best friend,we want you to be close with us like forever and ever and you will always be, Zulaikha= pretty, no matter how you look like to others, you will always be the prettiest girl ever born! And I thank Allah for that...Cool rite..

Ania Zulaikha-part 1

Wondering who is the owner of the name? She is my daughter.

This entry is dedicated to her. It is about her journey to this world =).

Anis Zulaikha,

Your mother and I first met at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Raja Tun Uda for approximately a month. And then, she remained in the north and i went to the south for matriculation. Lost contact for about two years. I came back to the west coast for my BSc and she went to the east coast for her M.D. And then some how we get connected, we texted and few phone calls and then we declared ourselves as a couple (YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DATE TILL YOU ARE ABOUT TO GRADUATE!!).

This dating stuff when for a years and finally your grandparents decided that we have to get engaged..The occasion was a blast (for more details please look at the pictures we have taken for you). It was 9th of May 2009.

And then in the 2nd of October 2010, we had decided to tie the not. We got married! Yeay!! it was a 3 days of celebration. It went well as we wanted. Believe me, it was seriously expensive! Your to' ba was mad at me for wasting my money.. Ok and then something happen between us (You can figure out what that something was when u r old enough, you can always your ma =)).

On our 1st month as a husband and wife, your ma told me that she might be pregnant. It was shocking for us because we didn't expect you to be formed this fast. We did the home pregnancy test, and it was vaguely positive, which means that there was a 50/50 chance you are developing inside your ma. It was conformed later that you are really in. I guess only Allah knows how happy i am at that time..I really cherished every single moment of your presence..
